I found some cute outfits for school to wear from class to everyday life.
Going back to school was one of my favorite times of year! I love walking through the office supply section and getting organized for all my classes. I may be the only one stoked on supplies, but I also loved getting new clothes from school. Once you get everything on your list and then you add in new outfits, the prices begin to add up. I haven’t been to school in a little while, but I had a couple requests for this blog post and I thought it was a great idea! I found three affordable outfits for school that will last you throughout the entire school year. Whether you’re in middle school, high school, undergrad or graduate school, these classic pieces work for all ages.
Outfit 1: Striped T-Shirt, Jeans and Sneakers
I made this first outfit with a dress code in mind. This t-shirt covers the shoulders, but has some added details that a plain t-shirt wouldn’t have. I love the varying stripes, the pocket, and even though you can’t see it, it has buttons down the back. (Here’s a similar one and another!) These jeans may be questionable depending on your school because of the distressed hem. I was allowed to have distressing, but no holes so these would work for me. (You can also go for a dark wash jean like this one!) Wayyyyy back in my elementary school days, no one was allowed to wear open-toed shoes which is why I went with these white Converse. They can go with jeans, skirts, dresses, pretty much everything! It’s a great classic shoe that will last for years.
Outfit 2: ¾ Sleeve Shirt and Paper Bag Pants
I realized just now that everything single one of these outfits has stripes haha. (Can you tell what I’m always wearing?) If you aren’t a stripes fan, no worries! You can always get a different shirt that is a solid or a different pattern. Just thought I would put that out there. Now that we have that out of the way, it’s on to outfit 2! This is one of my favorite outfits for school this year. I love wearing paper bag pants because they’re super lightweight and feel like you’re wearing pajamas. Pair it with sandals or a cute pair of flats to stay comfortable.
Outfit 3: T-Shirt Dress, Jean Jacket and Sandals
Florida (and Utah) get so HOT! I basically live in t-shirt dresses so of course I had to have one in my favorite outfits for school. It makes getting dressed in the morning so easy. I usually layer mine with a jean jacket because I get cold in classes but you could also wear your favorite cardigan or just by itself.
Those are my favorite outfits for school! I’m all about easy pieces in my wardrobe and I always find myself reaching for these things. What was your favorite outfit? Do you have any other go-to outfits for school? Let me know in the comments!
