The perfect look to match the gorgeous fall leaves.
I LOVE fall! I think the weather is gorgeous, the mountains are stunning and the transition from summer to fall skincare/makeup is my favorite. While experimenting, I found a gorgeous palette with all those stunning fall hues. I did an entire fall makeup look around it and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out.
Primer
Primer is always first! I use the Becca Backlight Priming Filter to give my face that much needed hydration and glow before applying a fuller coverage foundation. It adds dimension to my face and brings my highlighter to the next level once it is applied.
Foundation
My go-to foundation is the PUR Bare It All foundation. I love it since it covers all my red spots and dark circles, but it is light enough to have my freckles still peeking through. It’s light and doesn’t feel heavy on my skin, which is the BEST! Sometimes it can be hard to find a foundation that sits well on the skin.
Brows
I usually do my brows next with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. This is the #1 best product I’ve ever used on my brows! Is that too bold to say? My brows are thin and over-plucked from my high school days and this gives me the definition I could never have on my own. I love the natural look it has. It’s almost like my own natural brow hair! I finish it off with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel so nothing moves out of place.
Eyeshadow
Here’s the secret weapon: The Tarte Don’t Quit Your Daydream Palette! You guys, this is what all fall dreams are made of! It has a nice balance of matte and shimmer colors all shades of mauve, orange and yellow. Sound too crazy for you? Hear me out! The pigment is incredible, but it is super easy to buff out for a more subtle color. I’ve only been able to use it a couple times since getting it, but I know it will easily turn into one of my all-time favorites. While using a C-shaped eyeshadow brush, put loveee on the lid. Take a fluffy eyeshadow brush and put strive on your inner v and along the lower lash line. Using the same brush, buff out werk on the outer v and put a little bit on shine on in the tear ducts of your eyes.
Concealer
I use my concealer after I do my eyes so I can clean up all the eyeshadow fall out before finishing off my face. I’m obsessed with the NARS Soft Matte Concealer! It goes on super creamy, is high coverage, and doesn’t crease on my skin. I daresay it’s life changing!
Contour
Lately, I switched up on contour on my fall makeup look with the W7 Makeup & Glow Bronzing Base. I got it off Amazon and it felt like it took a million years to get here (since it wasn’t on Prime), BUT it is a really good quality product. I’ve found with my fair complexion that it is easier for me to apply with my finger and then buff it out with a brush, but you can do whatever you feel looks the best. I then go over that with my absolute favorite bronzer, the Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer.
Top it all off!
After that, I apply the CoverGirl TruBlend Baked Blush to the apples of my cheeks, WetNWild Precious Petals Highlighter, set it all with the NYX Makeup Setting Spray, put It Cosmetics Superhero mascara on and then I’m done! It sounds like A LOT, but I promise it’s much easier than it sounds. Let me know if there’s any fall makeup looks you would like me to try or any products to test out.
XOXO Kayla
