Happy New Year!
What a year it was! I know 2016 has had some lows but I can honestly say this was one of the best years of my life. Taz proposed to me on New Year’s Eve last year. He and I got married in May. I interned with a top-ranking news station in Salt Lake City. We moved into a cute little apartment in Provo and have weekly adventures around Utah. I even started this blog last year and I am so grateful for all of you who read my content and support me in what I love to do most.
With the new year, I firmly believe you dress for what you want: luck, a dinner date, a girl’s night out or even a night in. Even though it is a new year, there are still ways to wear clothing that you still have previously that can be worn in new ways.
The two styles I like are edgy and classic. Edgy looks are all about texture. Fringe, leather, lace and fur are only a few suggestions. The options are endless so combine your favorites to create a look that is all your own.
Black, white and gray are basically all I wear on a day to day basis. I love to mix-and-match prints to create my own individual personality with basic pieces. Personally, I like to wear big patterns with little patterns to balance the outfit without seeming too busy. It helps switch up new ways to wear old clothes.
I know these new ways to wear old clothes helped me get the most out of my wardrobe. I provided a few links to similar products at the end of this post.
Be sure to share your outfits with me and start experimenting!
