A Striped Dress: The most versatile piece in my closet works many different ways!
If you’ve been around a while, you know my obsession with stripes. Everything I own is usually striped or floral print. Now that I told you, you’ll never unsee it haha. I recently received an adorable striped dress from Cleo Madison that I wanted to share. I know I always talk about “closet staples” and this is one of them. For this blog post, I’m going over five different ways to style a striped dress for all seasons. If you don’t own one now, you’ll see how much it is needed by the end of the post.
#1: Denim Jacket and Sandals
This is usually how I wear a striped dress at home. It’s definitely a more casual outfit, but I love pairing this dress with a denim jacket and platform sandals. I styled it this way for my photoshoot, because it’s very “me.” Wear it grocery shopping or even to a fun date night.
#2: Tights and Heels
This outfit with tights and heels is for colder weather and/or church. I would probably even throw on a peacoat depending on the temperature. Thankfully, I can wait a few seasons to style my striped dress this way.
#3: Cardigan and Booties
This is still a fall/winter outfit. I wore this a lot in the beginning of spring too when the mornings were cooler. I wear cardigans all year long so you may see me rockin’ these with booties in the summer too.
#4: Blazer and Flats
This outfit and the one previously are two great options to wear to work! I have a casual work environment, but if yours is more professional, this is my favorite way to dress it up. A blazer and pair of flats can go a long way!
#5: Statement Jewelry and Wedges
This is a great date night outfit or even a during a warmer season for church if there’s one you like to go to. I dressed mine up with my favorite pair of gold earrings and some brown wedges for church a few weeks ago. It’s really classic, but you can really have some fun putting your personality into it.
Those are my 5 ways I style a striped dress! If you have any other ideas than the ones I mentioned, feel free to leave them in the comments below. If you liked this post, here’s other pieces I loved to style different ways as well. Get creative with your closet and I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
