Spring into the season with some curated outfit ideas!
I love Spring! Utah has gorgeous cherry blossoms and (slightly) warmer weather. I’m finally breaking out some of my spring outfits and I can’t explain how happy they make me! Bright colors and (finally) wearing dresses are the peak of my joy. I put together a mini spring capsule wardrobe of some of my favorite pieces I will be wearing all season.
Mini Spring Capsule Wardrobe:
- Palm Print Dress
- Embroidered Knit Top
- Open Cut Booties
- PinkBlush Shirt
- Downeast Pencil Skirt
- Wedges/Sandals
- Friday Apparel Hat
- Denim Jacket
- Striped T-Shirt Dress
- Lemon Peplum Shirt
- Black and White Striped T-Shirt
- Dark Denim
Palm Print Dress
I’m obsessed with the palm print trend! When I saw this dress, I knew I needed to include it in my spring capsule wardrobe because it brings all the tropical vibes while still feeling neutral enough to pair it with a bunch of different thing. On colder days, I hope to pair it with a denim jacket or a light sweater and on warmer day, I’ll wear it with a cute pair of sandals.
Embroidered Knit Top
This is one of my FAVORITE shirts! I love the embroidered details and I’m obsessed with the color. Tuck this into a neutral pencil skirt or with a pair of distressed denim for a cute and casual spring look.
Distressed Denim
I wear my distressed denim from Practically Wholesale allllll the time. (Probably, 3-4 times a week!) They’re stretchy and have strategically placed rips and frayed ends. These are super easy to dress up or down which is why they’re my favorite pair of jeans.
Open Cut Booties
I wear these shoes with everything and I mean EVERYTHING! They are so versatile and can be paired with jeans or dress easily! The only downfall is that they don’t feel the best if you wear them two days in a row. Spend some time breaking them in and they’re be your best friends!
Floral Ruffle Shirt
I got this shirt from PinkBlush a few weeks ago and I fell in love with the bold floral print and bell sleeve. In the picture, I paired it with a neutral pencil skirt, but I also wore it with pants for an event I had this week. It’s so easy to dress up or down!
Downeast Pencil Skirt
I LOVE this pencil skirt! It’s structured, but is still stretchy enough to fit without showing any lines. It also has pockets which is a must for me. I love wearing it with a casual shirt for work or a dressier blouse for church.
Wedges/Sandals
This is the season for open-toes shoes! I knew I had to include a pair of wedges in my spring capsule wardrobe. If you aren’t as comfortable with wedges, add a pair of sandals to embrace the new warm air.
Friday Apparel Hat
This hat makes any outfit more casual and I love the cherry blossom pink suede! I wear this with a t-shirt and jeans or a swing dress.
Denim Jacket
You can never go wrong with a denim jacket! This goes with just about anything and it was an easy addition to my spring capsule wardrobe.
Striped T-Shirt Dress
This t-shirt dress is one of my favorite things to wear! It works with any body type and is super comfy!
Adidas Sneakers
These sneakers are super cute and comfortable to wear with my casual dresses or jeans. The rose gold stripes help it either be dressed up or down.
Lemon Peplum Shirt
I had to include this shirt even though I know the picture doesn’t do it justice! It’s an orange/coral color which is HUGE this spring! Add in the lemon print and I am sold! I wore it with the pencil skirt from before and I can’t wait to wear this with a cute pair of jeans for date night.
Striped T-Shirt
This is my favorite piece in my spring capsule wardrobe. This is very “me” even though I know the picture doesn’t do it justice. I’m obsessed with the fabric and cut. I can’t wait to wear it more often.
Dark Denim
All denim is welcome in my book. A dark pair of denim is very flattering and hides any lumps or bumps I don’t want others seeing.
That’s my spring capsule wardrobe! Do you have a capsule wardrobe? Let me know what you have in yours if you do!
