These are the comfiest oversized cardigans to transition into fall!

I love cardigans! It gives the comfort of wearing a blanket without the judgement haha. I think they transition into fall perfectly because I can shed them anytime I want and not worry that I’m not wearing anything under it. Remember: layers are your friend in this bi-polar time of year. I found the coziest cardigans to help you transition into fall!

Cable Knit Duster

Dusters are the perfect type of cardigans! It’s like wearing a huge blanket! When I was in college, I always wore dusters in the fall to stay warm and cozy during class. I’m obsessed with this colored duster. I mean can you even with this gorgeous yellow? It also comes in black, army green and gray.

Sherpa Cardigan

This cardigan is similar to the one I’m wearing the photo. It’s SO comfy and seriously the softest thing I own. It keeps me really warm while still being a lightweight. I love the ivory color but it also comes in black, brown, taupe, orange, and mustard.

Tassel Knit Cardigan

This is my favorite oversized cardigan. The tassel details and slouchy fit brings it to the next level. It’s super lightweight and perfect for layering. I’m obsessed with this one and it comes in white, green, grey and khaki.

Chunky Cardigans

I love chunky oversized cardigans! This is a good simple sweater to layer over anything from t-shirts to dresses. I love wearing cardigans like this because it’s always an easy layer to keep in my car in case I get cold while the weather is transitioning.

Open Knit Duster

I’m OBSESSED with this duster! The fabric is unbelievably soft and I love the fit of this. The drop shoulder and length is so flattering and elongates the body. I can’t get enough of this rust color but it also comes in black, gray, pink and white.

Hooded Oversized Cardigan

This is a more casual style for cardigans. This is super simple and hooded for those colder days. This one also has a drop shoulder and comes in a ton of colors!

Rainbow Cardigan

I’ve talked about a lot of basic staple cardigans, but this one will bring your game to the next level. I’m not a huge color fan, but this one was too cute to pass up. Pair this with a cute graphic tee or a solid t-shirt dress for a cute, casual outfit.

Leopard Print Cardigan

I saved the best for last because I cannot get over leopard print this year! Adding a fun print like this cardigan can be an easy way to really show off personality. I love leopard print so much, I actually had a leopard print prom dress! This is a sweater that I’ll definitely be reaching for all season long.
