My favorite things from this past year!

I am afraid to admit it…but I bought A LOT of things last year! It’s almost embarrassing. Here’s a list of all my best purchases from 2017 that I loved and go back to again and again.

Downeast Striped Dress

I got this dress towards the end of the year and you might still be able to snatch one! It’s one of the comfiest casual dresses and is perfect to pair with a chunky sweater or sandals depending on the season.

Stila eyeshadow

If you’ve been around here the last little bit, you know how much I love this stuff! It’s the only glitter eyeshadow I own that doesn’t crease or fall out all over my face. It comes in tons of gorgeous shades too.

Adidas Superstars

Taz got me these shoes for my birthday at the beginning of the year. They fit a size and a half bigger than most shoes so keep that in mind before you get a pair. I’m obsessed with the gold accents and I get endless compliments when I wear them. I love pairing these with jeans or even a summer dress.

Cinema Secrets Professional Brush Cleaner

I need to be a lot better at washing my makeup brushes, but when I do, I use this brush cleaner. It’s really easy to use: dip halfway down the brush, wipe it off and dry upside down.

Wight Gold White Dress

This is the dress of all dresses! I’m still smitten on how gorgeous this dress turned out. I took pictures in this all summer long and I always got questions where it was from. The lace is gorgeous and I’m obsessed with the flutter sleeve. Everything I’ve ever bought from Wight Gold is amazing, but I think this one takes the cake.

BareMinerals Foundation

This is one of the foundations I tried this year and I keep going back to it. It compliments the concealer I love perfectly and has a gorgeous finish on the face.

Hello Apparel Shirt

Hello Apparel has adorable shirts and when I saw the floral one, I knew I had to have it. It’s really easy to dress up or down and the fabric is buttery soft.

Micro Fiber Cloth

This micro fiber cloth one of the only things that will take all my makeup completely. My makeup wipes still leave a thin layer of foundation left, but these get in every pore. I use mine a couple times and then throw it in the washing machine at the end of the week. Good as new!

Pineapple dress

I got this dress during the summer and a lot of you were raving about it! As you may know, I’m OBSESSED with pineapples and love anything with them on it. This dress is no exception. It has the cutest pattern, soft, stretchy fabric and POCKETS!

The Wetbrush

I became a WetBrush Ambassador! (YAY!) With some of the thickest hair on planet earth, a good brush is a MUST! The WetBrush has bristles that don’t pull or cause breakage unlike other brushes I’ve used in the past and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Kingdom and State Lemon Swimsuit

I found this swimsuit randomly (it’s a LONG story) but I fell in love with it as soon as I laid my eyes on it. The fruit print and high neckline made my summer adventures so much more enjoyable. I didn’t have to worry about falling out of my top (if you know what I mean) and it stayed in place all day.

NARS Soft Matte Concealer

I’m all about a good concealer.  It’s super creamy and really high coverage. This doesn’t crease either and lasts me through an entire work day (which is saying something!)

McLeod Letter Co Letter board

This is one of my best purchases from 2017! I met Kim and Logan from McLeod Letter Co. since Kim was a coworker of mine. Their business EXPLODED this year and I couldn’t be happier for them! They have the cheapest letter boards on the market and are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

Grace and Stella Eye Masks

I’m not going to lie: people will most likely laugh at you when you wear these eyemasks. I put them on during my Christmas vacation and I wouldn’t hear the end of it! That is until I took them off and the dark circles under my eyes disappeared! It’s really cheap for a package of them too, so try them out and see the results for yourself!

Formula 10.0.6 Thirst No More Moisturizer

I have chronically dry skin, but I can’t stand how oily most moisturizers are. Formula 10.0.6 sent me some of their moisturizer to try a few months back and I LOVE it! It lasts all day without leaving that nasty film on my skin.

Black Slip on Shoe

I found these shoes on Amazon a few months ago and now, they are my go-to shoe! I have a hard time liking closed-toed shoes since I grew up in Florida. But, it is easy for me to slip these on and off and super comfortable!

Fizz and Bubble Island Collection

It can be difficult to find skincare with natural ingredients for a cheap price. I found Fizz and Bubble through one of my blogging friends and I won’t use anything else. I have bathbombs, sugar scrubs and bubble bars that I use all the time and love.

Mia and Mac Choker

This is the necklace I get questions about the most. I worked with Mia and Mac this year and discovered her incredible jewelry! I found similar things in the past, but all her stuff is handmade and a fraction of the cost of other retailers.

Anker Power Bank

This is a LIFESAVER! I brought this charger with me on my vacation to Arizona and it charged my iPhone and my Apple Watch 8 times before going down to one bar. I always have one in my purse, because it’s everyone’s worst fear to have their phone die, right?! It has two USBs so you can plug in whatever electronics you need.

Cents of Style Initial Necklace

This necklace gives a touch of personalization to every outfit! It doesn’t fade and I love how big it is.

Kindle Paperwhite

If you’re a reader, you’ll want this! The Kindle Paperwhite makes reading a lot easier for me. I love to read an actual book, but I don’t love carrying one around everywhere. However, a lot of tablets emit excessive amounts of blue light making it harder to read in bed (which is the only thing I have time to do right now.) The Kindle Paperwhite has adjustable lighting and doesn’t have too much blue light so I can fall asleep easily.

Zyia Active Wear

This is probably one of my all-time best purchases from 2017! Zyia is an activewear brand with fabulous workout clothing that works for anyone! It’s comfortable and wears really well. Plus, I can wear it with other pieces without it looking like I just came back from the gym. The black joggers are probably my favorite and definitely worth the investment. Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Hair and Scalp Treatment

This one seems kind of gross, but I’m going to throw it out there anyway! Ever since moving to Utah, my scalp suffers and it seems like I have more dandruff than ever before. Lately, I’ve had a really hard time with the seasons changing, but I found this treatment. It helps more than I ever thought! I thought I was a lost cause, but this helps soothe the skin without leaving my scalp oily. If you have any scalp-related problems, this will be your saving grace!

Pajama Set

I know I talk about these pajamas a ton, but they are so worth it! There’s nothing better than coming home after a long day at work and throwing these on.
