Cheap fashion with high quality pieces perfect for this time of year.
Winter is definitely not my favorite season, but I love winter fashion. Since I grew up in Florida, winter wasn’t really a thing until I moved to Utah. I know I don’t want to live in Utah forever, so I put together a few items that I can mix and match to create a few different casual winter outfits.
My Favorite Casual Winter Outfits
Graphic Sweatshirt
I will be honest. I’ve worn this sweatshirt five times since I got it last week. A lot of times, you have to “break in” sweatshirt material to make it soft, but this one feels like butter on my skin. I love graphic sweatshirts since it makes me feel a little more dressed up than a typical one. This sweater comes in tons of cute styles and pairs perfectly with jeans and a pair sperry boots. It’s definitely my #1 go-to casual winter outfit.
Pom Pom beanie
I’m convinced you can never go wrong with a cute beanie during the winter. One of my favorite outfits I put together this season. I paired it with this adorable two toned sweater, jeans, and my Sperry’s again.
Cozy Layers
When it snows, I am all about the layers! Amelia James asked if they could send me some of their clothing from their winter collection and my favorite piece they sent is this blue thermal. (I found a similar one here.) I got this jacket five years ago. I have a few of their jackets and I’ve never had a better quality coat than from Land’s End. The fur is removable along with the hood and belt. My go-to jeans and sperry boots complete this winter outfit during this freezing snowy day.
Plaid Peplum
I have a really casual workplace environment. When it isn’t snowing, I wear something like this: a dressier shirt, jeans and my cut off booties. I love this shirt since it is thicker and is easy to layer with a cardigan or light-weight jacket in slightly warmer weather.
Chunky Scarf
In the beginning of the season, I am drawn to chunky scarves and it’s one of the only accessories that I wear all winter long. I pair them with sweaters, jeans and booties or even a cute sweater dress.
In the end, I have five tops, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of shoes, one jacket and two winter accessories that complete my favorite casual winter outfits. I love that I am able to mix and match all season long so I don’t even have to think of what to wear on those casual days. What are your favorite pieces to wear during the winter?
