Who says Christmas parties can’t be comfy?
On Christmas, I spend the entire day in my pajamas. However, majority of holiday outfits are cute, but impractical and sometimes uncomfortable. I got the Aphrodite Dress from Rococo Modish and it’s definitely my go-to for this season. I teamed up with Rococo Modish to give you a few tips for finding the perfect, casual holiday dress. These tips are very important to remember when going out Christmas shopping to see if it will work this year.
Tip #1: Fit
It’s all about the fit! I gravitate towards a more loose looking dress than form-fitting. Find out what is the most comfortable for you. I love this dress because it is tapered on the sides to a wider bottom. V-necks are also the most flattering neckline since it elongates the body and has a slimming effect. Plus, this dress has POCKETS! I’m pretty sure I can justify anything if it has pockets.
Tip #2: Fabric
This fabric is a DREAM! It’s softer than anything I’ve ever had! It feels like pajama fabric, but in a dress. Who could go wrong with that?
Tip #3: Versatility
The most important aspect of finding a holiday dress is making sure it is versatile. This means, “Can you wear it after the holidays?” I try to get as much wear out of my clothing as possible. I love this dress, because it has the festive green color, but I can easily wear it year round. The dress also has a slit and either the front or back can be tied in different ways.
