The transition between seasons is effortless with this staple
Fall is just around the corner and that means sweaters, leaves, hikes, hot chocolate and everything containing pumpkin spice! As a Florida native, I never had a fall wardrobe growing up until I moved to Utah where there are actual seasons and not a constant stream of sunshine and 75 degrees. (Can you tell where my heart really wants to be?) Since I am not sure where Taz and I will end up in April when I graduate from BYU, I have more transition pieces than “summer” and “winter” clothes because the plan is to move closer to the South.
This shoot has been my favorite so far because we got to hike to one of my favorite spots in Utah. Rock Canyon is such a beautiful place to take pictures, rock climb or for an easy hiking trail. I did a shoot here four years ago with my cousin and I knew I wanted to do another one before we left Provo.
I found this floral dress at DownEast Basics. They came out with some clothes that have turned into some of my go-to pieces like my last post of the red dress. The blush and eggplant undertones help transition the dress to match more of an autumn feel. Plus, the three-quarters sleeve and thicker fabric balance with the knee-length cut for either a summer or fall look.
Love you guys! Thanks for all the support!
XOXO Kayla
