Tips and tricks to hack my morning into creating the best day possible!
I’m a firm believer that my day will go as well as my morning. I’m still working on my morning routine, but this is how it goes for most days.
6:30 AM
My alarm goes off and I lay in bed for about 15 minutes. This helps me wake up easier and not be so groggy. Sometimes, I’ll get out of bed and put a cold eye mask over my eyes if I wake up with swollen eyes.
6:45 AM
Then, I head into the bathroom to wash my face. I didn’t use to wash my face in the morning, but I found that it helps me wake up. I need all the help I can get! Then, I moisturize with my favorite stuff I keep going back to. Did you know that dark circles come because of a lack of moisture? Within a half hour, my circles are usually gone.
7:00 AM
I spend about 20-30 minutes getting ready in the morning. Putting on makeup is therapeutic for me. I always feel better when I fit this into my morning routine. The timing depends if I do my hair that day or not, but I usually do it 2-3 times a week. While I get ready, I catch up on some of my favorite YouTube Channels and listen to my scriptures.
7:45 AM
Sometimes, I plan my outfits the night before, but majority of the time, I forget. I pick out my outfit and get dressed for the day. This is one of my favorite parts of my morning routine.
8:00 AM
Since Taz mostly works from home, he gets our lunches together a lot. We cut up all the things for a salad the day before so it makes our mornings easier. We find things to eat for breakfast and spend a little while together before I head out the door. I kiss him goodbye and then I’m off to work!
