3 Types of Ruffle are Better Than One

Summertime is here! I wanted to share my thoughts on the recent ruffle trend going on. Honestly, I thought I was going to be the last person interested in it but I actually love how ruffles can accentuate different pieces of clothing to make it more feminine and interesting. I teamed up with Agnes and Dora to talk about 3 ways to embrace the ruffle trend.

Flounce

I haven’t been into skirts very much until recently. I found a couple that I loved including this one. Typically, I am drawn to ordinary pencil skirts that match everything but the print and flounce on this one added the personality to the skirt. I crave originality in clothing. I never buy anything that I am not immediately drawn to from the start. It is hard when a large amount of people in a small area all buy similar clothing items. I liked that this one was different than all the others I had seen and had a great shape along with original style.

Peplum

Another way to embrace the trend is with the popular peplum style. Peplums have been around since before I was in high school but they are one of my favorite trends. The shape is so flattering for all body types since it accentuates all the right places before pulling away from the body. It’s easily one of my favorites that I wear on a regular basis.

 Sleeves

The most recent style and my favorite of this trend is the ruffle sleeve. I love how it dresses up a basic t-shirt with the addition. This shirt has an actually sleeve underneath too which gives another layer of modesty. The sleeve mixed with the floral print is the perfect combination.
